This session demonstrates how to capitalize on authentic resources by creating tiered activities for multiple levels. With authentic texts such as infographics, advertisements, and websites, teachers can design activities that build linguistic and cultural proficiency. With one text, a teacher can generate activities appropriate for novice, intermediate, and advanced learners. This presentation guides participants through the process of selecting texts and creating appropriate and accessible activities for each level. A single text can produce activities for multiple proficiency levels.
